OpAns’ staff have analysed 1000’s of dried specimens using traditional dried specimen collection devices (e.g., Whatman DMPK cards) in support of a multitude of clinical trials. Specimens have included dried blood, plasma, and urine.

Based upon extensive learnings using traditional devices, OpAns’ principals developed a novel dried specimen collection device that is currently patent pending. The OpAns device overcomes all of the challenges that limited traditional devices, including:

  • Securing a “quantitative” specimen
  • Maintaining a stable specimen
